Why standard PLM falls short for made-to-order bridal

PLMs were built on an assumption that breaks the moment you walk into a couture atelier: that the tenth piece is the same as the first. But it isn't. It's a different bride, a different fitting, a different fabric behavior, a different number of hours, process, attention. Every hour of that difference is a real cost. Almost none of it gets documented, and the business can't use it.

Ateliers should not price by gut, and those who wish to scale their manufacturing should have a clearer path, with solid proven numbers.
